These gloves are deceptively cool. There was moderate interest during the white elephant exchange/stealing, but not as much as I'd hoped for among our group of tweens/teens. Once it was opened and in use, it was a different story and they all thought it was 'awesome'. Even one of the moms who is a runner thought it would be a great item for her and asked where I'd found them.

I wear these for Christmas events and I get tons of compliments. They are so fun to wear. You have to be careful putting them on and taking them off because of the wires for the lights. They worked like a charm during dance night. However, the blue LEDs stopped working in the left glove on the first night. Not sure if I was maybe partying too hard and moving hands too much. So that sucked. However, these are still the life of the party and I do suggest them. This gloves can be stiff at first and seem like they do not fit. By the end of the night, the gloves had expanded and fit perfectly. I have large to x-large hands. The gloves are made out of knitted cotton. The LEDs are bright, however, and to some extend, very flashy. So, keep that in mind in a dark lit dance floor as you will likely become a beacon. The three modes are all three colors on, blinking blue, blinking green, blinking red (and the blinking is fast), and they have a fade from blue to green to red that is fantastic. Like I said, I felt the colors were just too bright and the flashing was just too fast - but for an exciting dance night, they may just be what is needed. Also, by closing my hand I was able to mute the colors and open my hand to the beat to create my own pulsating LEDs. The loss of the blue on the left hand is negligible. The glove still operates just fine.
